And then there’s our Commonwealth...joint bank accounts
Saw them five times since the 81 tour and the last stadium show in 2015 was by far the best sounding Stones concert I've ever attended. Stadium amplification has come a long way, thankfully, since ticket prices have gotten so Gawdawfully expensive.
No KC stops on this tour, looks like I'll miss this one.
Saw them in Edinburgh this summer: if they are coming by your neck of the woods then grab the chance to see these rock’n’roll legends having fun onstage for what might well be the last time. They still do a great show.
Are they supporting an album with this, or just returning to the stadium-shaped ATMs again?
Not one of them has a fat belly......how the hell do they do that?! That's one of the first things I notice whenever I see pics or vid of them....all still as skinny as they were as kids......personal trainers? Immaculate diet and exercise regimen? Clones? WTF is going on here?!
I thought they had finished the original record they were trying to make when they fell into all those blues covers.
They had finished some tracks but not enough for an original album. they're still at it.
Paris studio time was/is booked on November. so it seems.
MJ has always been a gym-rat, dunno about the others.
"No Filter" better not refer to the catheters, or things are going to be pretty nasty by the middle of the tour.
He is an immortal
I’ve been a Stones fan from the beginning; I still have their first LP I bought with lawn mowing money, but I’m not interested. I saw them a few years ago when they had Mick Taylor along. Good show, but when the broke into ‘Satisfaction’, I decided I’d had enough. One too many times for me. Still love ‘em, though.
Biggest hit how so?I am kinda dense.
Never knew someone had to pay such money to be tortured like that
Same here - also 5 times (really 6, but I got thrown out of 1) starting with the 81 tour, touted to be their last. HA! I've absolutely loved all of them except for the last one in Raleigh 2015. Had very good seats - VERY EXPENSIVE - but they didn't really seem to be in the groove. Ronnie got a lot more playing time throughout the show, which I liked, but Keef had the wrong guitar (standard tuning) when he went into Start Me Up. That memory is still painful.
Even at 80%, they're still better than most live bands in my opinion. I love the Stones but I think I've seen the best I'm going to see and with their ticket prices so high, I think I'll be skipping this tour even though I'm really tempted to go.
Time to sell the first born and all my buffalo nickles
If the Floor seats are more than $50, I may have to pass.
Definitely go and see the Stones. It cost me a fortune for me and Mrs MC to see them in London this summer but it was worth every penny. They put on a fantastic show, played all the hits and the sound was brilliant.
I saw them in Philly '69, and Hartford '81. Hard to believe they're still touring. Pretty cool.
They aren't coming within five hundred miles of Huntsville, AL and I am not really a big fan so pass.
Just looked at a site that was advertising $200 to $900 per.
