Rider for female backing musos: must look good in heels and diamante gown....

Saw him a few years ago, roasting hot night in Melbourne, band was sitting on top of fans for acoustic segment

He read a telegram from Ron Wood who was in chemo at the time 'I'm off booze, off the drugs, off the chicks - I'm fxxxing miserable!'

I love the guy, and his work in the late 60's-early 70's. One of those few truly gifted singers with a golden voice. I've been disappointed by most of his discography since "Atlantic Crossing" (included), but I will always treasure his work with the Faces as well as his 4-5 first albums.

I saw him 7-8 years ago. I always had been a fan, but not enough to go see him.
Then, my wife was offered free tics through her work, and I thought hmmm, I might have to go check him out. Glad I did! The show was superb!

He started out with an amazing bunch of people and tells all about it in his book which is a very good read.

I think he’s got the greatest voice of that generation of late sixties British singers which included Tom Jones, joe cocker, long john baldry and robert plant. What he did with that voice was sometimes questionable but when it worked no one could touch him.
