From the 80's even...looks and sounds like rock and roll horn section to me...but I'm like, cray cray...




...ps, if you don't groove on the bass line here, you is the one who is cray cray...

Another one with a great horn part, especially the last minute of the song.


I am never 100% sure that I am actually hearing real horns in this Cure song. Some phrases sound like yes, those are actual horns, and others make me think it's a synthesizer. Anyway, I bet live with a full horn section this would be killer.

Anything by the Cherry Poppin Daddies. They're from my town. I used to go see them all the time before they got kind of big in the late 90's.


Oh yeah, I totally forgot all the swing revival bands. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, anyone?

Anything by The Band with horns is good. With Allan Toussaint working the charts for horns, it becomes magic.
