Hey has anybody used those roasted maple fretboards they sell on LMII? I'm looking for some "real world" samples. Just looking the images on the LMII website, I can't tell what the colors look like in a finished piece.

    Thx in advance!

Roll the dice and order one. LMI has the best customer service, if you aren't happy they will make it right

Yeah I’ve had good experiences with their customer service - I’m just torn between black Richlite and the roasted maple. I know the Richlite will work, and I haven’t seen enough roasted maple to convince me to go that direction.

richlite looks great. I don't know about LMI's roasted maple fingerboards, but roasted maple, particularly fancy figured roasted maple, always catches my eye
