So I was originally going to buy a Fender special edition deluxe ash Tele. MF has them at $579.99 The price has me interested.

I was also checking out the road worn guitars. I'm aware of all the specs on both guitars. But I'm wondering is the road worn worth the extra $345?

Same question about the Vintera series. Anyone think they are priced a little high?

I only have experience with the 52 reissue's. I had two in the past. They are not in my budget at this time.

My main guitar is a Eric Johnson rosewood board Strat. I also have a 1959 Gibson Melody Maker that I has p-90s It was modded when I got it.

So a Tele would be nice to have again.

That's the main issue. I can't play any of them.

Every on-line retailer has a 30 to 45 day exchange policy.
Buy it, play it, send it back if it's not for you.
You just need to worry about getting someone else's return.

I like my Roadworn much better than the 52 RI. I don't like the teeny vintage frets on the 52, so the modern taller frets on the roadworn are superior for me. I eventually changed the Pus to Fralins and added Callaham SS compensated saddles
