I know basically what they are but have to admit that I don't know how to go about using them. (Spotify and iTunes) My music has always been on vinyl, 8 track tape, cassette tape or CD and situations such as this are a sharp slap in the face reminding me that keeping up tech wise is necessary. It's the old cliche...snooze=lose.

I was away from computers and 'news' about this time and I'm just finding out about this now. Very sad news indeed. I loved his music. Eldorado will always be among my 'must listen to' list. I enjoyed his sense of humor of these forums - his fight against 'red guitars' and discussion of 'the talent lever' :)

IMO there are very few perfect songs - 'Wicked Game' was one and his part will never be done any better than it was on that record.

There are few songs that provoke me to learn them immediately upon hearing them. This one with its guitar hook was one of them. RIP, James.

thanks guys. I am happy to know that little Jimmy Wilsey (aka James Calvin Wilsey) is so well remembered.

This day just keeps getting harder to get through.
Something told me to log in today -- after years of absence-- and I read about Joel.
And now this older post about Jimmy. Speechless.
