    Dear Andrea,

Your dad was a highly respected person here and was a model for us all. If I was ever scrolling through a thread, I would stop every time your dad's name appeared. I have been trying to get back into playing after years away from the guitar. Tim's advice meant so much to me.

I didn't post here for a few days because I didn't know what to say. I still don't.

This is so sad. My condolences, I will him.

I remember a few years ago he was going to drive to hospital as he thought he had a heart attack and someone called 911 and stopped him driving.
He said he was going to be around for a long time yet, not near long enough, nowhere near long enough. We all miss you old friend.

Thanks for your music Tim, and your input here and @ Bluestalk.

A good man and a great player, he's already missed.

    I'm devastated.
Tim's one of my oldest Friends on The TDPRI.
This is perhaps the only time I wish I hadn't logged on.
Is there anything that We as a Community can do for Tim's Family?
    Or individually for that matter?
I knew he was having some health issues but it seemed like he had them under control.
A tremendous Human Being who did the right thing and always put his Family first.

Wow, this is hard. Tim was one of us.

Thank you Andrea for checking in here. Your Dad was really an important voice here. I wish I could have met him personally.

    Best wishes,

    Donnie

I've been away for a few weeks, just to come back to this... It's just plain awful!

Andrea (and the other kids), condolences from far away.

I have been away from the TDPRI for some time now. Something tugged at me, this morning, and I clicked on the TDPRI icon on my desktop. The first thing I noticed, after the great new look, was the R.I.P. thread for Trag-O-Caster. I am stunned.

Like so many of you, here, the TDPRI has been such a treasure trove for me, such a great community to have been part of, for so many years. Though I've only met a couple of you, face to face, through posts, PMs, and emails, I had the sense of having known some of you as compadres, even as friends.

It was heartening, running down the thread, to see posts by many of those old TDPRI friends. I immediately recalled how we all rallied around Trag when his wife died. Life sure has a way of calling people together.

It seemed so appropriate to see Tim's moniker popping up in the thread, especially so when his daughter was the author. Tim's kids were EVERYTHING to him. He was so proud of them. He loved them with every fiber of his being.

Trag was a key contributor to the TDPRI. He was a great source of information and his posts were always a must-read for me. The knowledge, experience, good humor, and brotherhood that filled his contributions were integral to the spirit of this place. Most of all, what Trag contributed, in spades, was a real sense of humanity.

My heart goes out to Tim's family and to his friends. While I'll mourn his passing, hoping that he's with his wife, in a better place, I will also celebrate his life and his spirit. Peace.

This is very sad news indeed. I send my sincere condolences from Europe to you Andrea and your siblings. I hope you can find the strength to console each other. You're in my prayers.

It's been awhile since I posted here and when I come back...this. Words escape me. Terribly sad. Deepest, heartfelt, sympathies to the family.
