No way. Man I was a fan and I hated how short-lived things were for them commercially. Voices of Babylon is better than it gets credit for. RIP Tony.

A metalhead friend of mine went to see Outfield back in their heyday, at UWSP.
He was surprised and delighted how hard-rocking they were, live

Was a freshman at college when a buddy put the CD in his dorm room. I instantly fell in love with the strong melodic hooks and the guitar sound. Poppy but still quite cool. Strong album start to finish. Their material was a must in the cover bands that I was in. RIP Tony, you blessed us with some cool music.

Oh how I loathed their music, but I still wouldn't wish death on the guy. Two years younger than me, and even in the where-are-they-now file he's still accomplished more than I ever will.

....RIP. Sad. Not a fan, but didn't dislike their music either.
