This is terrible news. I figured he had crossed a line and gotten a long vacation from this place.
Always enjoyed his posts, and especially the ones about fried chicken (great photos) and the bar/club scene around the Buckhead neighborhood in Atlanta. I didn’t realize my time in those clubs pre-dated him by so much, as he would have been 13-14 when I was around there in 79-80.
Way too young to go; I can only hope he went peacefully.

Awful news, and only 6 months younger than my self. Thoughts and prayers sent to his whole family, and his friends, here and elsewhere. RIP Steve, you will be sadly missed on this forum.
