Never was a wrestling fan but Hulk Hogan was a character.
RIP

I did watch it on tv with my grandfather on KTVT in Fort Worth and as a high school idiot in Meridian. Bored and buzzed in a small town

Back in the early 80’s I watched WWF Wrestling. With Hulk Hogan, Randy Macho Man Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Iron Sheik, Andre The Giant, Bret Hitman Heart and many other big draws. It was fun. We’d get wound up and scream at the TV. I was 11 or 12 probably. Was WWF on TV Friday or Saturday night? I kind of think so.

Hulk Hogan acted like the more civilized, classy wrestler. He wasn’t my fave but I surely watched a ton of his matches. We mimic’d his moves with our friends. Great memories. RIP Hulk Hogan. You made a lot of kids happy and entertained.

yeah me too man! We used to talk about it in school on the Monday and get so buzzed up! I loved the way he'd be out cold, and the ref woudl pic his hand up to test if he was ok...
it'd fall back to the canvas!
no WAY!
then the ref would pic it up again
Again it falls to the canvas!
then the ref pics it up one last time, lets it go and...!
it'd stay up! the fist would clench! it'd start powering up and then BLAMMO!!!!! He'd punch his way out of that sleeper hold and win the match!
legend!
