Sorry to hear that. A few years ago I asked a question on that forum regarding scales and a bit of music theory. He really took the time to give me a detailed response and made sure I understood. I really appreciated it and my playing improved because of it.

I liked both songs, and Kelly's playing very much. I am sad to hear another forum member is gone, and a good musician to boot. RIP Kelly.
I didn't know who he was, cause TDPRI is my only hangout, but dang.... 52 is way too young. Hearing some of his music just now and man... he was a good player for sure. Very sorry to hear this. RIP man.

What I remember about him is his self-deprecating nature. He’d post a clip of his playing and preface it by saying how much it sucked. Then he’d kill it. Gotta love a guy like that.
