    The whole German musician community is crying!
    Everyone between 55 and 70 remembers April 21st 1980 when ZZ Top made their gig in "Rockpalast" (European wide broadcast from Essen, Germany). This made ZZ Top superstars in Germany and in Europe.

    I just posted here because of the bass player thing. He sure inspired me to kick back on the riffing, turn it up, have more fun and a little distortion never hurt anyone. I only saw him once on the Deguello tour but I could see him pretty close. Loved how he and Billy used lots of nods to signal the ends of their songs...just like my crummy little band back home.
