The other day we went to the store and they had baby back ribs from Finland. The looked pretty good so we bought 4 racks
Here’s the one I’m doing today on the smoker for dinner

Almost thawed to begin prepping. BTW, the silver has already been removed. Bonus!

Any body had ribs Finland? This is a first for me

Hmmm never heard of them. Give us the scoop when the dust settles. Just read up on the high level quality meats coming from Finland. Dang. I'm doing some baby back ribs today. I'm going with gravy and mashed for today. Just trying something different.

All rubbed up, ready to be covered and into the fridge til 4:00. 30 minutes to warm a bit and into the smoker at 225 for 2-2.5 hours

Twice baked potatoes, Jackie’s World Famous Baked Beans, and a small garden salad will round out the menu

Ooooh, baby back reindeer ribs. That does sound interesting. I’ve never had reindeer but I’m open to try it

I’m pretty sure they are pork but honestly we never looked past the country of origin and “baby back”
Maybe it is reindeer. But they are pretty small for what I’d expect from a reindeer. I’ll let you know after dinner

I recall that Denmark also is a big exporter of baby back ribs.

Nice! Hope they taste good. :)

I read somewhere we're exporting pork meat more and more nowadays.

PS. We actually had reindeer (with mushroom sauce) today. No ribs though :D

I must admit the ribs were very good
I beliy if a rib is really good it doesn’t need sauce. These did not need any sauce

Their small size and marbling makes them very juicy

We used to get Danish baby backs but they haven’t been available for many years. They were larger and just as tasty

    Three more racks to go.
Hey, drf64 I guess I’m finished. I have to admit I groaned aloud when I first read this
