    Hey Guys,

The body for my El Cabron has arrived today. We had a few speed bumps along the way, but we are now ready for assembly. The body looks incredible. Rob's black is so black that it is very, very hard to photograph. It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black.

Rob has been great to work with. A USACG Birdseye maple neck awaits it. The neck is the compound that Tommy has built for two other builds for me. The neck has a Tru-oil finish. Locking tuners, bone nut, and a Lollar 5% overwound soapbar will finish it off.

    More photos to follow.

    Don

I just can't get over how cool that is. The soap bar pickup looks great on that Tele body. Adds a sort of Jazzmastery essence to it.

    Very nice Don

Very nice Don (Doth). The assembly must have gone pretty smooth. I love seeing one of my babies graduate!

    Rob,

The assembly went incredibly smooth. The neck fit perfect right off the bat, no shims, gaps, or anything unpleasant. The hardware went right in as well. I sent you an email with the full scoop.

    Thank you again!
    Don

I am still amazed at how awesome this guitar turned out. Great work by Rob at Rhomco and my local Luthier.
