When I put this together I kept it simple. Pickups>Selector switch>one volume knob>output jack. No tone. Since I added a Seymour Duncan 1/4 Pounder, I’ve read that it thrives with a 500k pot. The TV Jones Starwood Neck pickup sounds perfect with the recommended 250k. So I added a 500k volume pot to SD, and kept the 250k pot for the TV Jones. Still no tone circuit. I also bought a Rockrabbit control plate to allow for an LP style pickup selector. This guitar sounds awesome, and it’s very versatile for being so simple. Rock n’ Roll raunch, Country twang, Blues whatever... this thing can do it!
