It's been some weeks now since I received this gorgeous guitar, and I thought it was time to share some impressions.

From top to bottom -
The fruity staggered tuners work perfectly well, even though I prefer vintage style. The nut is well cut and required no work with the the little StewMac files. The tall but narrowish frets are awesome.
The fundraiser photo of this guitar had a rosewood fretboard. When I opened the box and saw that it was maple, I was delighted. Maple is my favorite on fendery guitars.
The deep C neck is quite nice, and the cut for access to the 22nd fret does its job, I guess.
I'm struggling a little with the EA saddle, which seems to make the E string sharp, and the A string flat. I'll spend a little more time with it.
I will talk about the pickups later.
