After a house move deprived me of my man cave I virtually quit playing guitar and sold both my Teles. Strumming my acoustic recently reignited the fire and I bought this 1994 MIJ 52 Tele on eBay. It has Bare Knuckle Blacktop Flat 50s pickups and all USA electronic upgrades plus a dodgy relic job and sounds sweeeet!

I like the flat 50s ... a bit more glassy and stratty and than usual tele pups, sweet with plenty of output :)

Welcome back! The relic on the body looks fairly believable, but the wear on the neck needs more sweat & grime rubbed into it. Time to get playing.

It's worn down to the bare wood on the back of the neck but it feels too rough for my liking. I'm waiting for a few coats of tru oil to dry so I can get a satin feel. Can't play it for a week :(
