Resurrecting a vintage Kawai guitar

    anytime an old guitar is brought back from oblivion I think it is grand, that is looking great so far

    There is a very similar Kawai on eBay right now. It too needs a bit of work.

    Weather is not very good these days here in Uruguay: we have cold, rain and high levels of humidity in the atmosphere. The news from the guitar workshop is that due climatic conditions, the varnish of the guitar is still drying. You know the saying: man proposes, weather disposes.

    So, just in order to keep this thread alive, let's make a little recapitulation about how things are going on so far:

    I like it very much. Also, those Ampeg, Matchles and Gibson amps look very cool!

    Marcelo can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that they are pots without knobs.
