Restoring My 1967 RS/SS Camaro Convertible

Nice. My brother-in-law was a Camaro guy. He had a 67 RS/SS too , but his was a hard top. It was a show car. He later had a real nice 69 Z28. He was driving that when he started dating my sister. He sold that car when they starting making plans to get married. After all these years I still tease him about that, telling him "there ain't no way in hell, I would've sold that car to marry her".

In the late 80s I knew a guy with a kind of ratty, probably on its fourth bad paint job 1969 RS/SS. He got it cheap because of the rattiness and shined up its yellow/black paint job as best he could and it was still pretty cool. His had a tired 350 in it when he bought it and he swapped in a 402 big block. So he ended up throwing originality coolness out the window but ended up with some big block Camaro fun anyway.

Yours looks like it’s going to be a stunner!

Yes, 350ci with a mild cam. With the aluminum intake and headers it's probably around 325 HP.

Original motor long gone. Motor now is 350cu approx. 325 hp

Awesome resto you got going there. A completely original hardtop version with rallys and hornstooth interior in malibu or laguna blue is my ultimate dream car. I'm jealous!
