Replacing MIM bridge with "vintage" style.

    OOPS - just realized that this pic still has the steel comp saddles I had on there for a little while. Oh well - you get the idea anyway...

    I replaced the 6 saddle stock bridge with a Fender Pat. Pend. ashtray with stock Fender uncompensated brass barrels. The tone is noticeably richer. The intonation problems with the uncompensated saddles is so minor that it is a non issue.

    Also picked up the ashtray bridge cover. It looks cool, but feels a little awkward. It spends more time on my desk that it does on my Tele. I do tend to slap in on before it goes in a case and into the car.

    I bought an ashtray too because of the look, but with all the palm muting I do I found it unusable.
