Replacement Telecaster Pickups - I'm having a dilemma and would appreciate some guidance

Most pickups sound pretty great, we make waaay more of that 'tone'.....If you listen to many famous guitarists, they ask, 'did you change the pickups', they reply, no thats why I bought the guitar!
Don't think Leo Fender, Seymour Duncan, Larry Dimarzio have forgotten more about pickups than some guy in his garage in NJ

I've owned/played through a few offerings from the " guy in his garage in NJ ".

Lindy Fralin Blues Specials are the way to go. The neck pup is phenomenal.
