Rob Robinette is a member on this site. He's got a whole page of mods that will transform the amp, clean it up, dirty it up - just don't lose what makes it a great amp to start with. Coupling caps, new speaker and maybe fixed bias are things that might get you where you need to be.

Why on earth would you consider doing that?

Nothing in the current lineup of Fender offerings comes close to approaching what you already have. But if you must, buy a for real Deluxe Reverb KIT and build one for yourself.

Even still, you'll regret parting with a 5E3, probably within hours of doing so.

Check out the Divided by Thirteen CJ11. It's a tweaked up 5e3 circuit with a great OD tone but it also stays clean a bit further on the dial.

Basically don't sell it. One amp that comes close is the modern Fender Pro Junior IV Tweed. But not sure if its headroom is enough for what you want, although its fine for me..

Personally, having recently bought the Pro junior IV, and loving it, i'm looking for a tweed deluxe something.. :) If i need more volume i carry two amps :)

DRRI isn't really much louder than a 5e3, you just get a lil more head room which is what you're looking for. My 12 watt Lil Dawg 5e3 is pretty comparble to my DRRI. The bigger differene would be the scooped mids in the DR.

Why not try putting a louder speaker in your 5e3?

I would keep the 5e3 for sure-and then figure out a way to deal with headroom. Cheap SS amp for cleans and an ABY to the 5e3-or maybe a reamp from a attenuator to make the clean sound louder, EV speaker etc.

Keep the DR. Spend $250 on a massive, ugly, unwanted Silver Face Ultra Linear Twin Reverb amp. You will never have a clean problem ever again. AB pedal. 5E3 for dirt. The red-head step child for cleans for the win.

Vibrolux Reverb. Also the ’68 version that came out is great in a “blackface circuit through 2x10” way.
Or what @keithb7 just suggested. Seems a great idea to me.
In any case, don’t sell an amp you love. You’ll regret it for evah.
