We did it last Sunday and here was our arrangement. Wondering what you guys think and also if you have done it what was your arrangement?
A little challenging with the alternate tuning capo and bluegrass instrumentation for a band like ours but turned out better that I thought it would. Still wanted to get you guys take and a few ideas on arrangements if you have um. Thanks
    Ours from Sunday

Like it ascension. Arrangement Works well...
we have been doing it on and off for a couple of years now. We usually let the drums bass and vocals drive the first verses and chorus and then build up from there with some guitars and percussion. I’ve not been at church for a while but back this weekend so will see if I can find a recording of it to post. We also use build your kingdom here and for all that you have done by rend collective in our church. God bless K!

Sounds good. Rend Collective, what a fun band! We do "More than Conquerors" and I have been trying to get the Worship Pastor to do "Joy Of The Lord" but he thinks the verses may be too "wordy" for the congregation.

I play guitar and sing harmony in Riverside Revival Band.
We cover several of Rend Collective songs.
We posted a few videos on YouTube, but I don't think we posted my lighthouse.
Build your kingdom here is on there for sure. I can't remember what else.
    Cool band though.

You all sound good and have a unified style. Your group has an interesting country feel on that one. We hit this one a little faster and don't do the country swing thing.

I was trying to identify the major difference and I think it is the drums. During the verse we have the drummer on a steady quarter kick with tom/cymbal fills and no share on 2,4. I think that changes the overall feel of the verses.

They are different styles so I think what you are doing works well for your group.
