Removing Old Thread from Participated...?

Hi - is it possible to stop old threads I have commented in from showing in my PARTICIPATED?

Some threads go on and on until I'm no longer interested in seeing them.

Yes, Unwatch the thread. Go to the thread and above the first post you'll see "Unwatch Thread" Click that.

To see a handy list of your watched threads just click on the "Watched Threads" tab below the main menubar up top. Then you can easily find the thread you want to unwatch.

Also, if you receive email notifications from the thread there is an unwatch link at the bottom of the email.

I take it this is only for the Web view...?

I followed it to the Web View and could find a WATCH THREAD rather than UNWATCH. Is this because I commented from within the app...?

Is there a way I can unwatch from within the app?

You didn't mention that you were on the App, and you didn't post in Mobile Support. So, we gave you instructions for a desktop.

But it still works. That phone or tablet has a browser, just use that.

Yes, in the App simply go to the thread you want to unwatch. Tap the menu bar (3-horizontal dots top right of the page header) and Tap "Unsubscribe."

Thanks. I've tried that, but I don't get an UNSUBSCRIBE option. It's not that I've subscribed to it, and I haven't tapped WATCH at any stage - I've simply commented in the thread at some point and it shows in my PARTICIPATED every time someone else adds a comment. Here is another screenshot of what I see:

OK, I get it now. Sorry. Since you "participated" in that thread it's going to show in "Participated" in the App. That's what "Participated" is. There is no way around that. If you want to see a list of the threads you participated in... well, then there it is.

Sorry to send you on a wild goose chase, but didn't know you were talking about the Mobile App in the beginning.
