Personally I really like treble bleeds, have them in all of mine. I like the Kinman style with audio taper volume and tone pots. It gives me what I want from my setup. But everyone is different.

It’s always seemed to me that having a treble bleed set up in a single coil fender guitar is a bit silly.

I love treble bleed and have it in 3 of my 4 electrics...

...but on each one there's a push/pull pot so I can bypass it if I want to.

    I love to have options!

I only like treble bleeds with high output pickups. When I installed mine, I had the Tele on a work bench with alligator clips testing different combinations of caps and resistors until I got the response I liked. My tele uses SD Quarter Pound pickups.

Most decent guitars have even enough volume response to not require a treble bleed.

I'm not following what you mean. Could you please explain it more? :)

I had a harness with a blender installed when I swapped a bridge pickup in my strat -

and the fancy harness included the treble bleed so I thought - yeah ill try it

im sure I can work with it...

nope - I kept if for about 3-4 months and tried to get used to it as everything I read about said it was an improvement

i finally removed it and my normal tone returned!

    Never again

I guess a lifetime of using the tone and volume controls for whatever situation I was playing in - got me used to my way

with the TB - I kept hearing a weird brittle tone half the time

    just not for me
