I’ve had chips ahoy and milk within the last two years.

Tonight I made ice cream and ginger snaps sandwiches for dessert. It was AWESOME!

Now I’m gonna ride the exercise bike for an hour.

Hydrox, yeah! The filling wasn’t as greasy as Oreos.

I remember reading or watching something on tv several years ago that said Hydrox came first and Oreo was a copy that became more popular. I always loved Oreos but lately tend to burn out quickly on them. I do remember liking Hydrox better last time I had them. I was wondering not long ago if they were still around. I haven’t seen them in a store in a long time.

Frosted Cherry Pop Tarts and a cold glass of milk. I actually liked Buttermilk with some sweet sugary things.

I remember eating 2-3 bowls of Cap’n Crunch while watching Saturday morning cartoons like Bugs Bunny. After that 3rd bowl i’d feel like i was vibrating!

We had a big family, so cookies were few and far between. But, ya.
could dunk lorna dune in milk all day or oreos. Our neighbor
was a single kid. His mom had the small coke bottles and a box
of reeses..wow...I wanted to be a single kid sometimes.

    lol

Nope. I always had home made cookies. And my mother was at home raising children and fixing meals.

Some of those crispy ginger snaps have pretty sharp edges too. Guess that’s why the softening effect of the ice cream is so vital.

    My breakfast was
    [IMG]
powdered chocolate i guess. Add milk, and a bit of [IMG]

in the already hot milk. otherwise they turned to mush and weren't as good.

When I was a kid, I got one cookie and a glass of milk (maybe "beige milk" - my mom's version of sprinkling a little bit of Nestle Quik in...not super-choco like I do now). Then we watched ONE show on TV...AFTER chores...

My sister that's 11 years younger? I'd get home from college and she's parked in front of the TV watching whatever with a whole bag of Oreos...

Now that I'm a parent of 4 with two in college and two youngers ones? I'm starting to understand.

Ice cream:D My dad ran an ice cream company in the 60's. He'd take me along to visit the shops on Saturdays. What fun between malts, sundaes, burgers, and the jukeboxes, living was good.

Now I am grown up, allergic to beef, and if I drank a shake I'd barf before finishing it:rolleyes: Still like ice cream in the evening, but just a single scoop does me just fine;)
