My career was in Silicon Valley, so it was shorts all of the time. Cargo shorts, running short, biking shorts, beach shorts ... etc. Then I moved to Montana where cargo shorts are de rigueur for everything including funerals, weddings, the symphony, and yes, even jury duty. I have post holed through 3 foot deep snow wearing cargo shorts (mid summer though :D).

    Seriously considering those cargo kilts.:)

They say the Universe is expanding.
I can't comment on that as astrophysics is not my strong suit.
I can say, however, that during this pandemic my own waistband is expanding at an alarming rate.

I’m diggin my Costco travel pants. Even has a pocket for a passport for those infrequent overseas trips. Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it I guess.

That's how I think of pants, too.

I wear cargo pants every day and I have a ton of stuff in those pockets. Enough that I pity the soul or circumstance that should underestimate me.

Hp has no dress policy. I think I have been wearing the same 3 pairs of jeans for the past 5 years. My last job, it was either my bathing suit in the summer or my pajama bottoms the cold months. Oh, I do wear a company logo collared pull over now.

Shorts exclusively unless we’re going to someplace with the A/C set to subarctic. Then it’s Levis, sweatshirt, and my old Harley jacket

My pants don’t fit anymore. Thankfully, I discovered that there’s such a thing as pants that stretch.

Dickies 874s in summer, jeans in winter, slacks in formal settings.

I haven't worn shorts in decades (unless you count gym shorts - or zip-off hiking pants - though it's got to be at least 35° centigrade before I zip off the legs, and only when I'm "in the wild", doing some rock climbing).

Men's calves aren't supposed to be seen in public, that's barbaric!

I bet some of you old timers still have some of these in the way back of your closet...might be time to bring them back!

If you're in my band, you're wearing pants. Period. No shorts on stage.
