I was sent a note this morning saying that Reggie Young had passed. Don't know the details, was just told that he had passed away.. Certainly one of the best guitar players out there and an awesome guy to talk with when you got a chance

I saw this on the TGP this morning. I play his licks every time I pick up the guitar. He will be missed. Back in the days of the old TDP, I had several conversations with Reggie. He was always very courteous & accommodating with a good sense of humor.

Sad news. Reggie was one of my favorite guitarists. Always tasteful and inspiring. One of the best. RIP Reggie Young.

He was a true inspiration to me.
His playing on Drift Away, Suspicious Minds, That’s The Way Love Goes, and a few hundred other tunes set the standard for memorability, economy and tone.
    RIP, and thank you sir.

RIP......he left his mark. One can identify his playing without a doubt. He made many, many songs be all that they could be with his thoughtful playing.

What an incredible role model. With his big talent, he didn't need to be a good person. But he was. Didn't need to work hard, but he did.

    Rest in Peace, Mr. Young.

I've never heard this song. It is sooo good. The vocals, the guitar - and this chorus.
