This forum has always been pluralistic, diverse and open to other guitar cultures.

My natural finish American Standard Telecaster with a rosewood board is a beauty. It sounds and plays great. I had an American Standard Strat but my brother bought it off of me for the price I paid for it new. For Strat tones, I've since stuck to my Parker Nite Fly. Then there are my Rickenbackers (a 325 and a 330) and my SGs (a Special, a Standard and a Deluxe).

Play your guitar, add some good stuff to the forum and your assimilation into the TDPRI community will be a joyous one.

Cool that your Tele speaks to you enough that it's your main guitar. Carry on with it.

Actually, my post was humor. If your Tele is good to you, the action is too low. Raise it until your Tele isn't good to you. Digging in and playing it that way will reveal more of what a Tele can do.

Why would they exile us? We’re all Fender benders aren’t we? Can’t we all just get along?:D

You'll need a butterscotch blonde card, actually.

What @Recce said. The next step up is the James Burton Signature model. With that, you get a paint job with flames!

I think it's a not-quite-there second attempt at blonde. You should have seen the eyeball-searing, screaming bright, yellow they tried before this one.

I do remember it being more of the morning after drinking a Budweiser case yellow before. It is tamer now, but still, not blonde.:D

The hex code #FFCC5C for a background color matches my Baja 50s Tele pretty closely. Not that anyone listens to my suggestions.

And the answer to that is...? C'mon, you know what you need to do about that.

Check on the butterscotch Telecaster. The other one is Redwood.
