I got my tele by mistake before i joined here and found out how cool I was.
<---- When a Tele is not really a Tele.
I think I have everything covered. The two Telecasters and Stratocaster are called the Three Musketeers and are actually customs. The SG and Les Paul Traditional cover the Humbucker sound very well.
Butterscotchblondes has more fun. So we understand that you wan't to hang out with us.
Hey! Those are my Teles! Find your own!
Welcome aboard / across.
I have a banjo
Do you have a kilt? Or a bumched shrit? Once you get the hang of the inside baseball here it can be a lot of fun.
Relax. Read few posts. Laugh and enjoy yourself. Shortly, a tray of Koolade filled Dixie cups will be passed amongst the un-indoctrinated.
Take a sip.
I just made it over here, I'll have to take some pictures of a couple of my teles and post them. I love my teles...
Strat-Talk people are welcome here as long as they enter LEGALLY (i.e. not by way of Asian spam or smuggled in by way of a Les Paul control cavity), affirm the supremacy (or at least the primacy) of the telecaster guitar design and seek to assimilate by buying, building or coveting a telecaster guitar(s) (off-brands, imports and cheap copies ok as long as they don't bear the Fender logo). Those who engage in strat trafficking (such as trying to mainstream strat tremolos or pickups on teles or smuggling in strat parts in smuggler teles) will be dealt with most severely by the mods (as will this thread, no doubt, sooner or later). We are not above twangerboarding the most egregious offenders.
In before the lock. Be interesting to see how long we can mock the P topic without talking about the P topic before the powers that be swing the justice hammer down. Guess it will be fun while it lasts...
Easiest way to learn the ways of the Tele .... get a new pickguard for one of those Strats and load it up with Tele pickups and controls. Make sure the volume knob is at as far from the strings as the first Strat tone knob. And block or deck the trem. Then you will understand.
That was my first Tele. I have more than one Tele now.
I have two Jazzmasters, a Firebird, a Martin and a P bass.
I love teles though... someday
No, I have overalls and no shoes or shirt. What kind of dude do you think I am?
I played a lot of baseball. Teles make great bats. A little heavy though.
When I first joined, I only had a Strat, and had only had a Strat for decades. I'm still here!
To be fair, I was looking for a Tele - but none of that matters here, so...
Welcome! I wouldn't wish MLP on my worst enemy.
Was that you on Wall Street?
You don’t have to tell us that
We’re definitely enablers of whatever guitar addiction you didn’t know you had.
I’ve been here since 2008-2009.
