I'm a sucker for Cherry in any Gibson-style guitar
I have a 2018 Cherry Epi SG, and I used to own both a Cherry Dot and a Casino ( years ago, and at different times) which I needed to sell- I want the Casino back!
Sunburst...but I already have two red-ish Streamliners and a Riviera.
TBH I am leaning towards burst cos of this Video !
Both are great, both are common.
That's How I feel Shouldn't Matter but it does ! Sat here with the money ,and the guitar shop is 400 yards away
been sat here since 10 am its quarter to two now !
Am I going Crazy ?
Burst. That’s what called you.
Unless the red is a better guitar. Then red. Because you don’t seem to have an overwhelming color preference.
I have a sunburst Epi 339 and it's a thing of beauty. Both red and burst are classic for sure, but sunburst is classic classic.
Gonna go try Both ! I think I tried the red one last week ! see which one I bond with
No body bothers with you in that shop anyway they leave you to chose (No hard sell )
When @FenderGyrl recommended the Grote 335-style guitar in 2019, I immediately went online to find one. I've wanted a cherry-red 335 since the 1960's, but all Amazon had was vintage sunburst. I ordered it, and took it to my tech for a setup. He fell in love with it, but they were sold out, so he couldn't order one himself. We agreed that if they came back in stock, I'd grab one for him. A week later, they had a cherry one available. (I suspect it was a return.....it had a TINY flaw down at the bottom bout) I ordered it, and it came in fast, and was (is) beautiful. I took it to my tech, and he agreed to set it up at no charge, and pay the Amazon price, in exchange for the sunburst one. Either one would have been awesome, but there's just something about that cherry finish.......
Unless it is a Gretsch off course, then read
What do you call this colour by the way ? Red nail polish ? Or sunburst nail polish ?
