I'm looking for a delay pedal where I can set it for the dotted eighth note on the fly or in a live situation very easy.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

The easiest is the Maxon AD999 Pro. It has flip switches for the breaks but it's pricey.

Budget?

Lots of pedals can do this. The ones I have personal experience with are the TC Flashback 2, Strymon Volante, Boss DD-200 (sold to get the Volante), and Keeley Halo. All of these sound good, can do tap tempo, and are easy to set for dotted eighth timing.

How easy is it to set the tap tempo on an Eventide H9 or H90? Because they can definitely do the Gilmour/Edge dotted eighth note effect.
