The Whirlwind Orange Box is one to consider - it sounds really good.
3 pages and nobody likes the phase 100? 1st off I'm not a pedal guy at all. Every 5 yrs. or so I'll read something here and go buy one, play with it for a day or 2 and it gets put away. I bought a phase 100 a few yrs. ago after re-visiting the Robin Trower Bridge of Sighs record and found it very versatile. Also cops the phaser stuff on the Stones Some Girls record. That's all I got.
It was definitely mentioned, and I considered it as well. Probably was the runner up to the terraform.
Good phaser seems hard to replicate digitally. I might still end up with one eventually. The versatility of the terraform, along with the build quality and great sounds, make it a really good choice imo.
I missed it 1st. time. Fretting out mentioned the fact that you can change the wave form. I like that feature but the problem with me is that while I'm going back and forth trying to dial something in, it all starts to sound very similar.
+1000 on the Phase 95 - the Swiss Army knife of phasers!
I went the old school route and have no complaints.
Got very lucky with these vintage ladies.
