Not looking to spend a fortune, but would like something that lasts longer than my Musician's Gear tweed cables did. 15' is the optimal length for me.

Was looking at Fender tweed. Are those any good?

Hosa seems to be good quality. Has stood up for me at minimal cost. But they require proof of purchase for the warranty. Why, I don't know.. just a dodge of claims in my book. But they don't usually need service.

Whirlwind is roughly twice as much as an awesome lifetime warranty and service (ship it to them, they repair or replace, ship back). But they have those large plugs (unless right angle) and while durable, they are too big for me. YMMV.

I'm not one of those guys obsessing over capacitance and I'm not gigging regularly.

After finally switching to Rattlesnake cables I can’t find any reason to use anything else.

Edit to say if you enter their mailing list you can get a discount code. Best cables made that I’m aware of.

I got an MXR cable last Christmas as a gift, it wasn't expensive at all but I've been very impressed with it. It's honestly one of the best cables I've ever owned.

I like this cable so far (just sitting at home). When performing, we made cords from 2-wire shielded Beldon cable. You could pull over a double stack Marshal before you could pull the wire out of the jack.

Guitar cables need to last, that’s for sure. They also need to be shielded well enough to block radio frequency interference. They also should not have tone robbing excessive capacitance. I’ve found two cables that perform well enough that I’m pleased with them. One is Mogami Gold. The other is PRS. Neither is cheap. I use 10’ cables at home. These are $50 cables and are worth every penny of it.

Don't drag your Tweed cable, across a dusty stage. Especially if it's granite dust. Other than that, I've been impressed at the longevity of my 20 footer.....nine years, of fairly heavy use.
I have a Planet Waves 10 foot cable, with the circuit breaker, on one end. Thought it would be a flash in the pan but it's never missed a beat, in six or seven years.

I like Ernie Ball. Comes with a velcro wrap, too.

Been using Mogami Gold, but l like The Snakehead from Rattlesnake cables and might get a couple. Sorry, not inexpensive but I don't worry about them.

When I'm noodlin' about the house I like the little gray cables that Fender includes as candy.
