Interesting comparison between these two:
Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Relic Stratocaster and the Telecaster is a '57 Reissue Telecaster.

I'm amazed by the neck pickup sound on the tele, it's also consistent with most tele custom shops where the neck pickup is nice and bright!

That Tele neck sounds extra-bright compared to others that are considered bright or full-range, like the Twang King.

My Limited Ed journeyman 50s Tele has a “hand wound” Texas Special neck. It’s the brightest and hottest without flubbing out I’ve ever heard. My Dragon has the “Jimmy Page” custom neck. It’s nice but flubs and isn’t as bright.

I’ve had dozens of American and Mexi Fenders primarily finished in nitro. This Custom shop 50s tele is the best one, and I’ve recently owned a real 62 slabboard strat. Fender Custom is really really good right now.
