I was fortunate the dealer and my insurance company worked well together to cover most of the cost. It took me several moments to collect my thoughts when they gave me the initial damage and repair quote.

Glad they were able to take care of you - and yes, the cost to replace an in-production wiring harness is nuts. I understood that my comprehensive insurance should've taken care of this as well. Unluckily, when my damage happened, my carrier dropped my car from the policy for totally unrelated (terrible CS) reasons.
