Found another of the old cameras. This was my grandfather’s. It’s a 5 X 7 view camera. Haven’t found the back(s) for it, yet. Had both 5x7 and a 4x5 conversion back. Not quite sure exactly how old - but leather bellows still in reasonably good shape.

I bought the lens for it in 1972 or so.

Drying some chilies in the basement.

Note the pendulum on the side for truing building shots and such. Guessing early 1900’s.

Edit: according to one source, 1914 - 1925 or so.

Hi.

Jerry Kord? Jerry Nord?

I messed around with it, but didn't really get anything better than the original file. Not really sure how to bring this out. Not the sort of thing I usually do. Others might be able to.

I think the first letter in the last name is an H, but it might be a K.

Cheers,
Geoff

Whaaaaatt???!! We are gonna need more details about this 2029 ride. Please share.
I don’t know exactly what he has planned, just that he’s taking at least 2 years away from work and home to do it. He did say to make sure the bike will hold up on the bad roads in South America… maybe he’s going to Texas 🤔

If you replaced the camera in that first photo with a plate of nachos, and threw some cheese on it, it would look like the inside cover of a ZZ Top album.

My oldest and longest serving guitar. Bought it in 87 in Memphis. Never have been able to make out the name on the case.

There is a Jerry Ward popping up on search, who produced&recorded in Memphis 1972, but it's just wild guesses:)

Could be it. Tommy Allsup is credited with being a guitar player on that record.
