We've been getting so much rain we're currently under a flood advisory. I just walked down to the river & indeed it's starting to run high. Love a good walk in the rain! Mendenhall lake & glacier are about a mile up stream. ⛈️

Well this isn’t good. Apparently, the heavy rain & wind triggered landslides downtown an hour or so ago. This photo (not mine) taken on street above downtown gift shops. No word of injuries. Hope all are ok.

Non of the above! They are ALL flat poles?!
True dat, most came to me in parts guitars from before eBay and guitar forums. Never liked flat poles much but I always played Esquires with 7.25/9.5” boards.
More Warmoth necks now with flatter boards so those flat poles sitting in bins make more sense. Most of my good staggered Tele bridge pickups are in guitars.
These are not though, one I just took out of an Esquire to put in another guitar, and the other two need rewinds.

On the right is a black bottom so probably 1960s, the other two are gray bottom, the middle is 69 or 71 and the left is mid 70s with the blue gray bottom and rare shielded hookup wire.
The color of the fiber bottoms and the cut marks or lack of cut marks help determine production era.

I also enjoy walking in the rain (not under all conditions, but when I know I'll be home afterwards), I relax and turn my face up to the the rain, instead of hunching my shoulders and hanging my head. It's a choice 🌧️😊🌧️
