One of James Turrell's Sky Spaces. This one is in Tremenheere Sculpture Park near Penzance. Just a half underground oval room with an oval opening in the ceiling. They have to be experienced to be understood.

NBD new battery day...

my truck battery has been losing some charge if it sits for a few days... time to replace it.
I reluctantly went into town to browse the auto stores to see who had a good price...
the first store I went to (because I could use their parking lot to walk around to check the others)) had a 25% sale going, including batteries...

Sweet.... grabbed this one, the guy carried it to the car for me and I drove home... I put it on charge to top it up before I put it in to use. Too easy..:)

Looks like a leatherback sea turtle laying eggs in the middle of your yard.

Hah!

Sadly it's the remnants of a big and beautiful Ash tree that was killed by the Emerald Ash Borer. There is a second larger stump by the sidewalk ahead, and another far off under the edge of the shadow of the red trees on the left.

Look again. . . I'm pretty sure that's a sea turtle. ;)
