Big trucks are always a bit disconcerting on our road.

Sleepy old downtown Kulmbach

The daughter asked me if I could pick her up a Döner on my way home and I took a stroll to stretch my legs a bit. My phone went through a recent major update that included an overhaul of the already impressive "night sight" function for night photography, and I wanted to test it out. Now it works as well as my previous phone, actually better.

One of like 15 Apotheken in Kulmbach. German cities are awash in Apotheken and opticians

Alte Feuerwache - converted 19th century fire house, now a nice restaurant that changes hands every five years or so

Dixie Klo at a small construction site, probably to repair a water line but I dunno

The Döner place. I'd say there are at least ten of them in Kulmbach. This is probably the best of them and at the best location

If you like bratwurst, come to Kulmbach. You'll learn what the best German bratwurst look, smell and taste like. These stands are ubiquitous in every Franconian city and opinions are heated, but Kulmbach has the best, there's no competition haha

First wander out in three weeks after dislocation if the knee. View attachment 1102115
Oh noooo... I'm just slowly getting back to it after damaging ligaments in my foot. Glad the recovery process is going quicker than expected. I'm going for a swim in a few minutes.

Good luck with your knee - listen to your body 💪🏼

Uh, who is that?
Looks like everybody’s havin’ fun!

Get the Led Out. They're not a group that I would have gone to see had I not been invited. I'm glad now that I did though. Those guy guys were great, and it was a lot of fun.

The sound was excellent, and not too loud. I think the full Marshall stacks are partially just for show. Those guys had great tone and cut through the mix perfectly. The last show I had seen was Bonamassa, and the sound was disappointingly muddy. Sorry, Joe, but Paul Hammond has better tone than you do.

I thought the terrain looked familiar. I remember the sportsman pics you post. You are a month early for spring gobbler. Trout is in though I think.
Wish I had more time set aside for a little fishing, but not on this trip. Not only trout, but there are some farm ponds with great largemouth and crappie this time of year.
