I feel your pain, I dislocated my knee three weeks ago and tentatively am moving around again, I hate being laid up. Again all the best with your recovery.

The smallest Sycamore...
Sycamores were introduced to Britain at least 500 years ago (some even maintain they were brought over by the Romans!), and made themselves at home right away. They can reach a hundred feet tall, live for 400 years old, and are often regarded as pests just because they will grow anywhere... but a mature Sycamore is a majestic sight, and a whole ecosytem in its own right.
This Spring seedling, straight out of its 'helicopter' seedcase, has a way to go yet

Yesterday, almost spring - last night 2 inches of snow. Just a dusting, really. Most of it melted by the afternoon, along the Big Thompson.
