Second year our garden's turned me back into that young kid obsessing over bugs and birds. We finally put up some wild bee houses couple of weeks back, saw my first leafcutter the other day and practically squealed.

First swiss watch!

I moved away from Seikos and seiko divers. Although, practically still entry level swiss, but its much nicer and more accurate!

These are casting pools in the Golden Gate Park. People are to practice fly fishing casting there from those spots the yellow lines mark off, I am pretty sure.

Glycine is not a shabby watch at all. Nice!!!

Ive seen a lot of bad rep about these when they got bought by Invicta. But man, if you’re on a budget and want a good step up from Seikos, i dont think you can go wrong.

The specs alone are pretty much good right off the bat

It is an odd thing to see, people fishing with no hope of catching anything

No, I don’t really fish. Did fish in the ocean as a kid with my grandparents but have not in years. I just run and my path led me through the castin pools that day.

My son & his girlfriend saved & saved, finally making a pilgrimage to Nashville. He just brought me back this pick & patch (perched in front of my old San Quentin album) knowing I’m a fan.

“It was pretty hot there!” he said. “But dad, you know what they say about ‘Southern Hospitality?’ It’s true! We stayed with some really cool locals there!” Sounds like they had a fine time. Hope to go myself someday.
