No, I used a jigsaw and a belt sander I think I have a pic of all the tools..... Ok maybe not. Unfortunately I have to hand-sand that cutaway, because I don't really have the tools to do it, so it's going to take forever.

The music festival in our little Bavarian town continued last night. These guys were LOUD but the sound was pristine and they brought a lot of humor to their black death metal gig. Really nice boys. The drummer was a maniac, Kieth Moon meets Jack Black

PS - if you've watched much of David Suchet's Poirot series you'll probably recognise the entrance lobby at Eltham Palace. The whole building is a combination of Edward IV15th century original and 1920s Art Deco.

They look a little dark, but that's just good "bark"
Dry rubbed, no sauce to hide the hickory smoked flavor, and the bones just pull out.

Thanks! I've shot sharper ones for sure, but the little carders are crazy hard to snag… both shots f2.8 @ 1/5000. Makes shooting race cars seem mundane.

I hear ya. Bees and butterflies, so frustrating. Race cars are predictable, if they weren't they'd be in trouble

From a bike and hike earlier today. The "Magnusturm", a signal tower the was erected after the medieval castle at the same spot was destroyed. Twenty meters high, and really really stout. With a nice view above the village of Kasendorf

The Angel Oak Tree in the beautiful low country of St Johns Island, SC. Estimated at 300-400 years old it's the largest living Oak Tree east of the Mississippi and shades over 17,000 sq ft.

That's incredible. It's all one tree? Also, South Carolina is west of the Mississippi?
