Back, behind the iron curtain, Pori Jazz was the only thing we could watch on tv from the international jazz scene. It wasn't broadcasted, but a hungarian television team was authorized to take part and make 30 minutes long snipets from the program of the acts the program director favoured. He didn't have terribly bad taste, but his heavy handed editing took its toll, and he sometimes interrupted fantastic solos, or the visuals didn't match the audio track. Nevertheless, since my tender age I couldn't wait them to start to broadcast the given year's footage, and I maniacally recorded them on VHS.

Madam Radar sold out the Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galveston last night. My pictures are not as good since I was not able to get my usual seat. What a band! Excellent vocals and fine playing. Great night.
These for eating, the smaller ones for cooking, I love a slice of these with salt

Just got back from a pleasant afternoon at my cousin Melissa's (and her partner Doug's) farm. Also present was my aunt and my cousin Abi and her daughter. A few pics of the horses, the farm etc.
