Little sad moment this afternoon. Thump on the window. This small goldfinch (I think) had a full speed collision with window. Didn’t end well. Sorry, little finch.

My friend Scott told me a way to circumvent this is to put a Post-It note on the inside of the window.
It breaks up the clarity/transparency of the glass.
I had similar experiences, and it did indeed help.

I guess that would depend on how big the window is, the direction it's facing, the time of day and what's being reflected in it. We have really big windows that reflect open fields and woods, so we keep our shades down but tilted like this

But every once in a couple years a bird flies into our patio door. But we put up a black fabric bug curtain as soon as the weather gets warmer, so that helps the birds, too

Could have just bought an Agile 3200MCC and plugged it in and played it. You can beat grizzly bear off with it too and the head won't snap off. You might want to change the tuners but other that the things are a tank..

This was intended as a reply with quote for the person that rebuilt his Les Paul. Oops my meds have kicked in. Yikes!

Some shots from the beach yeasterday at lunch. Waves are still huge.
Here below are some crops from those two above, so you can see surfers on the waves for scale. Look at the wave and on the left a person is coming down in the first shot, and on the right someone is right at the crest about to go down. The second shot as the person on the right near the bottom still riding, and a person above them floating. The person off to the right is then coming down.
