I guess that would depend on how big the window is, the direction it's facing, the time of day and what's being reflected in it. It breaks up the clarity/transparency of the glass.
I had similar experiences, and it did indeed help.

Nice rack!
Could have just bought an Agile 3200MCC and plugged it in and played it. You can beat grizzly bear off with it too and the head won't snap off. You might want to change the tuners but other that the things are a tank..
