I saw James McMurtry play here sometime in the mid/late 90s. It was not fixed up near as nice back then. To say that he seemed less than thrilled with the spot they gave him would be a bit of an understatement.

Love his music, but doesn't take much for McMurtry to be less than thrilled with anything. This one, understandable.

We were his opening act at the Saxon Pub, about 15 years ago.
