The city pro-actively jetting out the sewer lines by my house yesterday, as they should be, per requirements. Trust me, that doesn't mean every city does.

A basement flooded a bit with sewage is a disaster, especially if you had gear and other valuables on the floor. Now I just have to make sure I get my service line TV'ed.

Many times when a house backs up it's roots or grease in your own service line, and not the city mains.

We had an issue with tree roots several years ago. No fun at all
