I’m putting togther a portable rig. I need a rack mountable reverb/delay unit. To be used exclusively in the effects loop of my guitar amp.

A bit of reasearch has led me to the T.C. Electronic and Lexicon MX300.

Anyone have experience with either unit or have any recommendations?

    Cheers

Spend a lil more and look for a Lexicon PCM81 you wont find anything in its price range as flexible or better sounding. But really to get the most out of you would need a stereo rig.

I use an MX200 in my main mesa boogie rig. I’ve been thinking I might get an MX300 to replace an ageing Yamaha delay.

Nice and easy to use with simple knobs like a pedal. No menus on the MX200. Amazing verbs, delays, multi stage chorus etc. The compressor is really nice too.

The MX has two fx blocks you can toggle on and off with a simple footswitch via a 1/4” TRS cable which avoids all the midi control issues.

    Delighted with it.
