Just got the thing wired on my pedal board running on 9V. Ran the line out into my Mark Bass amp and tried it out because the PA is packed up.
All I can say is that after running it thru it's paces with all my effects (not many BTW) if it sounds this good thru the PA it is good bye lugging amplifiers. This thing is amazing. I also ran it directly into a speaker cab with a G12H30 and it really sounds nice and loud enough for any places I play these days. I expect that I will just be running through the board though.
No more lugging amplifiers and as a bonus ... I normally don't supply the PA equipment.

I had the US and UK Superblocks and they were both fantastic. I sold the US to a friend who wanted one and kept the UK. He only wanted the US and even though I like the US a little better I really just needed one of them so I let him have the US. I’m a tube amp guy all the way but the Superblocks are very impressive. That’s a loud 30 watts too!

I bought one and returned it, the UK though. Brand new from a dealer so no loss to try it.
Something in the transients was like shrill and harsh where a big transient from a tube amp gets a touch less shrill not more shrill. Couldn’t fix it with the limiter.
I also found master full up it was not very loud until the gain was up past 9 o’clock at which point it distorted.

By most accounts, the UK version has more dirt on hand. I have the US version and it is clean up to about 3 o’clock on the gain knob. I love mine.
One suggestion……. Turn all of BMT knobs up, then shave off a bit of treble.

I took the Quilter out for spin at one of the local bars last night> OI was using it and one of my Telecasters, Balanced output direct to the PA. It sounded really nice, I was using the 9V Pwr supply off my Voodo, I don't see any reason to be lugging amps around any more. If need be Ican use the 24V PS and go direct to a speaker cab. It can provide a very usable 25W. I said I was going back to SS and I did it.

Congrats Henry! 101 mini user here. IME, if you work the guitar's controls, as well as the amp's, you can get a lot more from a Quilter.
