Endora from 'bewitched' chases tiny spaceman around her shack.
"To Serve Man" as mentioned above, where the aliens are helping mankind cure all ailments, and as the main character is loading onto the alien ship to go to their planet, his friend tells him that the book "To Serve Man" is a cook book.
When Sci-Fi ran the marathon a few years back, you didn't have time to turn the TV off before they launched into another one. I'm usually asleep by midnight, but I was up 'til 5am one night. And I own the box set.
Anybody remember the one about the kids sitting in front of the TV, but without faces?
How about Keenan Wynne selling stuff to the Angel of Death to keep him too busy to take a litte girl?
The Odessy of Flight 33 . . .Commercial airliner goes back into time, and can't get back . . .
I don't know the title but the one with Robert Redford as death was a great one. That peaceful turn at the end surprised me.
"A Kind of a Stopwatch" Guy is given a stopwatch that "stops time" for everyone else while he still moves around at will.
Those are the first two that always come to mind also!
How about the one with the old woman who is getting phone calls from her dead fiancee because a phoneline is down on top of his grave...and probably the darkest of all..Billy Mumy (same actor that played Anthony) gets calls from his dead grandmother on the toy phone she bought him..and has him try to kill himself so he could be with her....both of these were creeepy...
The Shatner episode with the Gremlin on the wing scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. When that thing appeared at the window of the plane it scared me so badly ( I was 4 or 5) I leapt from the chair I was in over the coffee table and onto the couch where my mom was sitting acroos the room! My Dad, sitting at the other end of the room almost wet himself at the sight of me flying thru the air. THAT freakin moment scarred me!
Fast forward 16 years. I was working on a carb from my VW Bug on a bench in our garage. My Dad is outside and decides to pop up on the widow. I nearly crapped myself AFTER I almost put my fist thru the window.
Great show though. I watched a Twilight Zone marathon on New Years Eve.
Thought of another one!
I don't remember the name of the episode, but it's the one where the astronauts crash on an alien planet and find a race of tiny aliens. One astronaut goes mad and thinks he's their God, but (in true TZ fashion) finds that the last laugh is on him when giant aliens show up at the end.
(To be honest, I can't really think of any episodes I don't like)
Mine's "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet".
Room for one more, honey.
Yeah, I can't think of a single one I don't like either. Another great one--"Third From the Sun." One of the greatest twists ever at the end.
How to serve man. Plus the other William shatner one with the fortune telling machine
I always liked the Anthony episode.
It's a classic.
The Simpsons based a Tree House Of Horrors story on that one.
And when they made new episodes for a while they did a sequel to that one with Billy Mummy and Cloris Leachman returning in their original roles. And I think the little girl who was Anthony's daughter who now had the same power as her father, may have been his real life daughter.
"One For The Angels"
That's my fave.
